The Crew and its sequel decided to fit all of the USA into its game world (Alaska and Hawaii notwithstanding), which was no small undertaking. Still, the results are quite impressive. While certain regions have been shrunk into non-existence, the major landmarks that any non-American would be familiar with are all there. Plus with the huge selection of cars and the ability to team up with friends, it may just be the ultimate road trip game.
That’s the magic of Subnautica. Continuing to survive means getting to dive a little deeper into its almost alien world filled with wonders, threats, and pleasures that somehow all logically occupy it. I’ve heard many some call Subnautica one of the best open-world horror games ever made, and it’s certainly hard to deny how intimidating the game can be. Yet, it’s a testament to the power of this game’s setting that you’re rarely too scared to stop wondering what else is out there. – MB
MMOs naturally have pretty big maps, although they’re often chopped up and segmented, which in our books, disqualifies them. Asheron’s Call managed to do it properly though, stretched out at an estimated 500 square miles. There are even some that claim the world was as big as 800 square miles, but we’re taking the more conservative estimate. While this game, unfortunately, shut down in 2016, it should still be remembered to this day.

Monster hunter world board game
If the timer deck runs out or more than three hunters have fainted, the players will lose the quest and have to start again. If the players can defeat a four-star monster before the campaign timer runs out, they win the campaign.
I’ve recently gotten into board games thanks to some friends, and just found out that there was an officially licensed MHW board game funded via Kickstarter back in 2021. I looked it up and it seems pretty cool…but is it available for purchase at all?
And a small thing, but a positive one, for a big game like Monster Hunter World, the set up and tear down is pretty fast once you have your cards organized which was pretty straight forward thanks to a sheet explaining how to organize the cards in the insert.

Game 3 starter Walker Buehler made a surprise appearance that sealed his own incredible October story. Buehler returned earlier this season from Tommy John surgery but had a lackluster season before looking like his dominant self in October.
“I’ve definitely got to step up, and I’ve got to do my job,” Judge said. “Guys around me are doing their jobs, getting on base, and I’m failing at backing them up. We’ve got to turn it around in Game 3.”
How will the bullpens line up after the starter?Dodgers: Anthony Banda, Alex Vesia, Michael Kopech and Blake Treinen pitched in both games and could be somewhat limited heading into Game 3. Having the off-day does help, but the Dodgers will need to be mindful of the fact that they have a bullpen game lined up for Tuesday’s Game 4. But if the Dodgers take an early lead and have an opportunity to win a third game in the series, Roberts will be aggressive with his high-leverage relievers.
