Central Public Library along Grand Avenue followed by a celebration at Dodger Stadium on November 1, 2024, the birthday of former Dodgers star pitcher Fernando Valenzuela. Despite honoring the Dodgers as the 2024 World Series champions, fan tributes to Valenzuela were also considered to be a highlight of the November 1 celebrations.
For the 25th consecutive year, the World Series was televised in the United States by Fox.
