The main fast travel method, which requires Azoth, lets you go to any previously-visited settlement or Spirit Shrine—but only while you’re in a settlement area or at a Shrine already. Recalling to an Inn brings you back to a settlement for free, but it’s capped at once per hour and you need to have already checked into that specific Inn.
Each type of Mutation features various modifiers that are randomly selected every single time you enter a Mutated Expedition. This system rotates through a unique combination of Expeditions and Mutations each week, with 10 difficulty levels per Expedition Mutation. Players will be challenged to climb the ladder, with the aim of eventually reaching the max difficulty.
Each PvP mode now grants players a new type of XP and a new PvP Currency – Azoth Salt. PvP XP increases your progress on the PvP Rewards track, while Azoth Salt can be exchanged for specific rewards. You’ll also earn a generous Azoth Salt bonus for every 10k Character XP you earn in the open world while flagged (XP earned while in sanctuaries is not included).

The health of Shohei Ohtani’s shoulder was the biggest story coming into today. The shoulder popped out on a slide in Game 2 and despite the broadcast crew tonight letting us know that Ohtani was a swimmer growing up and has flexible shoulders, there was some concern that his swing would be impacted. He didn’t have to swing at all in his first at-bat, drawing a four-pitch walk, but Ohtani took two healthy hacks in his second at-bat, grounding out to second base. He may be swinging through pain, but it looks like he can actually swing the bat tonight.
